COMPLETE DRYER CONVERSIONS TO THE DAKEN SUPER COIL SYSTEMTM

This mill started a conversion in October of 1996. A total of 416 O.E.M. (Original Equipment Manufacturer) coils were replaced with 156 Daken Super CoilsTM by June 1999.

This mill started a conversion in May 1997. A total of 280 O.E.M. coils were replaced with 80 Daken Super CoilsTM by October 1998.

This mill started a conversion in June 2000. A total of 336 O.E.M. coils were replaced with 96 Daken Super CoilsTM by May 2001.

An installation of 60 Daken coils replaced 240 O.E.M. coils on Phase 1 of the conversion. A total dryer conversion replaced 368 O.E.M. coils with 92 Daken Super Coils in June 2001.

This mill currently has two Flakt dryer conversions under way.

Dryer A

A conversion began in May 1999. To date 12 Daken coils have replaced 36 O.E.M. coils. For this dryer a total of 96 Daken coils can replace 224 O.E.M. coils.

Dryer B

A conversion to the Daken Super Coils, Series 2000 began in October 1999. Nearly half the dryer has been converted with a total replacement of 540 coils when complete.
